MOVIECITY 2003 and HIVE FILM FESTIVAL

If you haven't heard there's this film exhibition at Suntec called MOVIECITY 2003.


It will cost $6 per person and here are the highlights: MOVIECITY 2003


The exhibition runs for two weeks - 29 November - 12 December 2003. If, perhaps, all are interested we can meet up during a weekday, do the angel/mortal lottery, and go for the exhibition.

Dear friends of SFC,
Hive Film Fest - The Digital Show (28 Nov - 3 Dec 2003)


Organised by local media training outfit, Media Hive, with the support of the Singapore Film Commission and Canon marketing (Singapore), Hive Film Fest will be screening over 50 digital films, including feature films, documentaries, short films and animation shorts, from Singapore and all over the world.


The three screening venues for the Festival are: Singapore History Museum (located at Riverside Point), University Cultural Centre (NUS) and Toa Payoh Central Community Club.


Aspiring filmmakers can also attend the DV Congress, which consist of three digital filmmaking seminars, which will cover production, funding and post-production & distribution issues. To kick-start the series of seminars on Fri 28 Nov, the organisers have invited Mr Alfred Piffl from Germany, inventor of the P+S Technik Mini 35mm digital adapter kit. Admision is free for all 3 seminars


In addition, catch the Finalists of the Singapore Digital Short Film Competition at the two al fresco screening venues of Riverside Point Fountain and University Cultural Centre Courtyard (NUS) on Fri 28 & Sat 29 Nov 2003.
